What makes Rasa different from other franchise concepts?

Rasa is Europe’s first modular Indonesian food & beverage franchise group. Our brands — Rasa Kopi, Rasa Matcha, and Rasa Indonesia — focus on premium-quality beverages and food rooted in Indonesian culture. We combine this with cutting-edge tech, flexible store formats, and direct sourcing from Indonesian farms and cooperatives

I have no experience in gastronomy – can I still join?

Yes! Many of our most committed partners come from outside the food & beverage industry. We offer full onboarding support and exclusive access to the Gastro Business School, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of running a hospitality business — from menu strategy and pricing, to customer communication, cost control, and mindset coaching.

What does the training program include?

Through our collaboration with the Gastro Business School, you’ll gain access to:

Daily live expert calls (Monday–Friday, twice a day)

Community Q&A with mentors who have built multi-million euro F&B brands

Video modules and live workshops on pricing, cost structure (e.g. contribution margin), staff training, guest experience, upselling, and much more.

Normally priced at €800/month — Rasa partners receive full access for under €100/month.

How much equity or starting capital do I need?

Our models are modular. Depending on your chosen concept and city, starting capital ranges from approx. €80,000 to €250,000 — including setup, equipment, licensing, and initial marketing. We support you in identifying a location and offer scalable packages for lean or flagship formats.

How long does it take to open my own location?

Once your application is approved and financing is secured, your location can be operational in approximately 2 - 3 month.

We assist with concept planning, interior design, supplier setup, training, and pre-launch marketing.

Can I convert my existing café or restaurant into a Rasa location?

Yes. If your space meets our requirements, you can convert your existing café or restaurant into a Rasa Kopi, Rasa Matcha, or Rasa Indonesia unit. This can significantly reduce setup costs and speed up your launch.

What support do I get as a franchise partner?

You’ll receive full guidance across all stages:

•⁠ ⁠Site selection, business setup, training

•⁠ ⁠Ongoing coaching via the Gastro Business School

•⁠ ⁠Brand materials, menu systems, and marketing templates

•⁠ ⁠Access to our partner ecosystem and B2B pricing for coffee, tea, matcha, and food

Is there a minimum term or exclusivity?

All Rasa franchise agreements are designed for long-term success. Regional exclusivity may be granted to committed partners. Our team will discuss suitable contract terms during the application process.

Can I collaborate with Rasa even if I don’t want to open a franchise?

Yes. We also partner with bakeries, cafés, or food concepts that want to upgrade their menu with Indonesian coffee, matcha, or bowls — without full rebranding. This collaboration model is highly flexible and based on shared growth.
